Service Descriptions

Basic Action Job

The receiver of the pistol is polished and deburred. All moving parts are polished for a smoother action. Then the springs are tuned and the timing is adjusted accordingly.

Transfer Bar Removal

A basic action job is included. We weld up the hammer so the firing pin is fully engaged and a half cock notch is added. The transfer bar is then removed and the trigger is set back.

Short Stroke

Includes a basic action job. We remove the transfer bar and add a half cock notch. The trigger is set back and your stock parts are modified to shorten the hammer stroke. The firing pins and main spring are lightened. And the trigger is adjusted to a 2.5lb pull, unless otherwise requested.

Bead Blasting

Bead blasting is the process of dulling the surface to a matte finish by applying fine glass beads or sand at a high pressure.

Jeweling, what is shown on the hammer and trigger in the picture above, is a finish that can be applied to almost any gun.

Brass Sights

Old sights are removed, brass sights are machined and installed.

Open Rear Sights

The rear sight is machined out using a mill, this helps your eyes focus on the front sight.

Cut Barrel and Trim Ejector Rod Housing

The barrel is cut to preferred length. If the length is under 4 5/8 in. the ejector rod and housing will be trimmed to fit. Sights are available upon request.

Fit Grip Frames

Grip frames are fitted and polished to pistol.

Super Blackhawk Spurs

Super Blackhawk spurs are cut off and welded to your hammers. They are polished to seamless finish. This technique is commonly used on Single Six hammers and Ruger Old Army's.

Octagon Barrels

Barrels are made from barrel blanks, they are cut down to your preferred length and threaded to fit your pistol. The barrels are machined into their octagon shape. They are then polished, crowned, and their forcing cones are polished. The ejector rod housing is installed. If the length of the barrels are less than 4 5/8 in. then the ejector rod housing is fitted. The barrels are then adjusted to the cylinders and new brass sights are installed.

Adjust Spur Angle

Spurs are heated and bent to preferred angle. Then polished.
